Weekend is here.....

Odd day, best made plans and all that. Just bummed around the bottom floor of the house for a bit before being summons back to the top floor. Eventually we got out by about 2 o'clock!!! Went to the Harvester for lunch and then unsuccessfully tracked down some friends, so went to see my parents instead, which was nice. I have just bunged a curry in the oven and we are about to split to the pub whilst it cooks. Just for a couple of beers, and then we are planning to settle down in the lounge for a snuggled up DVD session. Oh! in Ohio is what we have got and it looks pretty good.

This is the venue of where I am at on Monday!!! Pretty gob-smacked.. 70 acres of parkland and this baby is in the middle of it. I am there for a week before moving to somewhere equally jazzy.


Good news, we both went for a run this morning (I knew there was something else that we did) and managed about three and a half miles. It's a start!!!!! Pretty upset to find my big toe nail hanging off when I got back though. Stupid thing. Why can it not just do the decent thing and detach itself all together!!! Taped myself back up and it seems OK for now.
